What happens at Pitopäivät?
Finnish Wood Carving Championships
In 2027, Pitopäivät hosts the Finnish Wood Carving Championships. More than 15 competitors compete for the titles in the men's and women's series, and the audience can watch ordinary logs turn into striking sculptures. In the fast-paced speed carving, creativity, skill and precision are put to the test against the clock.
Local food and live music 🍽️🎶
At Pitopäivät you can enjoy local food and live music, and soak up the atmosphere at your own pace with friends and family. As evening falls, the celebration continues at the evening parties.
